Biography

For a large part of her life, she worked in a technology company, established together with her husband in 1986. 

Among Sheena’s roles in the company was responsibility for the interior design of the headquarters in Renfrewshire, the A-listed Art Deco building, ‘India of Inchinnan’. The building design by Architect Gordon Gibb the won 'Best Re-Use of an Historic Building' at the Scottish Design Awards as well as a commendation in the 'Commercial Interior' Category. At the time, this was the only category A listed building in Scotland in Commercial use.

Farming had always been a family hobby but since the sale of the company in 2008, it grew to become a full-time business and way of life. At this point, Sheena also returned to drawing and painting, finding inspiration in the wild and natural environment of Lukestone hill farm in Inverclyde where she lives.

Sheena has a diploma in Interior Design from Glasgow College of Building and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Painting from the University of Creative Arts.
